What to Expect

Welcome to FBCOZ!

It can be a big deal to walk into a new place for the first time. Its our hope to provide a welcoming and engaging place of worship for all of our members and guests. Below is more information about what to expect when you come through our doors.

What are services like?

Our Sunday morning services begin at 10:40 and are around 80 minutes long. You can expect authentic worship through music and a relevant message from the Bible. You and your children are welcome to worship together in our Sunday worship service. We offer our Extended Session learning and activity time for Babies through Preschool upstairs every Sunday. Kindergarten through 5th graders are welcome to attend Children's Church on the 2nd & 4th Sundays. On the remaining Sundays, the K-5th graders remain with you in Worship. We have an Activity Book in the foyer if your children would like something to do.

What is available for Sunday Bible Classes?

Our Sunday Bible Classes begin at 9:30 a.m. for all ages. Our Children's classes through 5th grade are in our upstairs classroom behind the balcony, and our Youth class for middle and high school ages is in our downstairs classroom. Our Adult Bible class meets behind the sanctuary.

How should I dress?

Please feel free to come as you are. People will be wearing anything from a suit jacket to jeans and a t-shirt. 

What about the music?

Our music varies by week as we have two-weeks of traditional and two-weeks of contemporary services each month. No matter which service type, we are committed to worshiping God with all of our hearts, our souls, and our minds.
